By accessing or using Ikot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Ikot reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
2. Description of Service
Ikot is a peer-to-peer vehicle rental marketplace that connects vehicle owners (Hosts) with individuals seeking to rent vehicles (Renters). Ikot facilitates these transactions but is not a party to the rental agreement between Hosts and Renters.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use Ikot. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. Booking and Payments
All bookings are subject to Host approval unless the listing has Instant Book enabled. Payments are processed securely through our platform. Service fees apply to all transactions. Cancellation policies vary by listing.
5. Host Responsibilities
Hosts must ensure their vehicles are properly registered, insured, and maintained. Hosts are responsible for accurate listing information and must honor confirmed bookings. Hosts must comply with all local laws and regulations.
6. Renter Responsibilities
Renters must possess a valid driver's license and meet minimum age requirements. Renters are responsible for the vehicle during the rental period and must return it in the same condition. Renters must comply with all traffic laws.
7. Insurance and Protection
Basic protection is included with every booking. Additional protection options are available. Renters may be held liable for damages not covered by protection plans. Security deposits may be required for certain bookings.
8. Limitation of Liability
Ikot is not responsible for the condition of vehicles, the conduct of users, or any disputes between Hosts and Renters. Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid to Ikot for the applicable transaction.
